Your photo has me curious, wondering what this tastes like! I hope you will share your photos at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2017/11/very-zen.html
Ah let me try and explain: the idlis are like gnochhi, only softer, no filling, fluffier. The molaga podi is spicy, it has to be mixed with a bit of oil, then it has a toothpaste-like consistency. The sambhar (not pictured) is like mulligatawny soup, similar, not the same. I'm not doing it justice but I hope you get the general idea, Sue :)
I love how the 'molaga podi' is so fine here. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could claim credit but it is store bought :D

Thank you for dropping by!
Idli and molaga podi, wordless indeed because I am drooling! Love the revamp, BTW!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm drooling all over again.
DeleteThanks K :)
I just had my lunch but this made me super-hungry. Molaga podi makes everything nicer. I have it with dosas too
ReplyDeleteIKR. Oooooh with dosas, two thumbs up. Would you judge me if I said I've tried it with rotis too and liked it *hides face* :P
